This small bathroom had a light shaft consuming valuable floor space. The suggested solution required eliminating the light shaft to reclaim valuable floor area. However, the problem was redefined. Daylight is a rare commodity in small urban apartments. This bathroom presented a unique opportunity to celebrate and spread joyful daylight into 3 separate rooms. Sometimes, the problem is not what it seems at first.
